Today FreedomWorks CEO Adam Brandon commented on President Trump’s action to form task forces designed to eliminate expensive or unnecessary regulations.
"President Trump’s action reaffirms his commitment to reduce and streamline the regulations that have accumulated over decades. These regulations are making it harder to start and run a business, especially small businesses, an engine of our economy. The massive regulatory state is also harming economic growth and productivity. We applaud President Trump for this action, but we also encourage Congress to continue to aggressively pursue regulatory reform through legislation like the REINS Act and the Regulatory Accountability Act.”
